Grit & Grace: Multicultural Women’s Mental Health Conference is a 1-day innovative program to inspire, educate and empower women to take charge of their mental health and cultivate resilience and wellbeing.

  • INSPIRATION: Get inspired by the personal stories of the nation’s leading mental health advocates.
  • EDUCATION: Explore barriers & pathways to mental health and wellbeing.
  • EMPOWERMENT: Learn how to take charge of your mental health and cultivate resilience & wellbeing.

The conference will be gender-responsive and tailored to address the unique mental health needs of women focusing on a multitude of factors affecting women including adverse childhood experiences, social and cultural factors, race & ethnicity, immigration & acculturation, class, gender, poverty, homelessness, violence, and trauma.

About the Conference Theme: People living with mental health conditions are often perceived to be weak or have a character flaw. Neither of which is true. It takes enormous strength and courage to cope with a mental health condition and create a healthy, meaningful, productive life. At ASHA International, we salute the Grit & Grace of people living with mental health conditions, celebrate their resilience, and honor their humanity.

The Conference is Intended for: Women impacted by mental health conditions, family members, and healthcare professionals who work in Women’s Services and Behavioral Health Services. However, we welcome anyone over 16 years of age to join us.

  • Are you or someone you know and love impacted by mental health conditions?
  • Are you a therapist, counselor, nurse, doctor or behavioral health professional?
  • Are you ready to meet inspiring women who have overcome the stigma of mental health conditions?

This conference is FOR YOU!
