You can find healing after loss.
After the passing of my father, I was thrown neck deep into depression. The feeling of grief and sadness were so overwhelming that it led me to self-harming for years. Years of the terrible feelings building up lead me to back to back suicide attempts that put me in to an inpatient treatment center. As I left the treatment center, I knew I had to change and find a way to heal from my depression. With therapy and support from my mother I was able to slowly heal from the grief and depression. As I got better, I wanted to find a way to share the healing and help others find peace as I did.
